I have wanted a Yaesu FT-1000D for more years than I can remember but always fell far short when it came to the price for a good one... Today I now own one of N2LEN's personal FT-1000D's.... What an awsome rig!!! Serviced by the Yaesu Guru, Byron Campbell and every filter slot filled...My trade a new FT-897 and Ameritron amp falls far short of his investment but Len's big heart insured that I am now the proud owned of one of Yaesu's Crown Jewels...
