Follow up of Rebuddle--rebuttal beware of Huey, KD3UI...

Post by ve2xb »

Huey finally sent the radio and I strongly believe it was the postings that persuaded him to do so. Otherwise, I really believe he wouldn't have sent the radio.
I do not believe that he works for the State Dept bcuz he would at the very least know how to spell rebuttal. His version was rebuddle...quite silly and juvenile.
I liked his story though. However, not as good as "Mary had a little lamb..."

Once burned, twice shy...
I will never deal with this ham again nor do I recommend that anyone else does. His tall tales of exchanges with me are just that, tall tales. I have all the emails to prove it. Remember that this was a radio that was initially donated to a Blind Club--and then it breaks your heart to know that he could do that to them.

I know KD3UI real well

Post by w8ns »

I have known Hughey for 20 years,he ran the Collins net on 20 meters for years, helped me run the Drake net on 75 meters.
This is the first time I ever heard one bad thing about him and I simply do not believe it,there is a mistake made some where.
Wish all hams were as honest.Don,w8ns
My word is my bond, same is true for 99 percent of all hams.

KD3UI---Huey--Full of it...

Post by ve2xb »

Listen. I don't care if he ran the Collins net or a Church bingo for 20 years. I know that Huey is full of it. If he has the emails to back up his story, then I challenge him to do so. I have ALL the emails.
End of story.
