I just wanted to report that I had a great experience with a recent purchase from Pete, WA2ODO in South Carolina.
Besides great communications, fast shipping, and being really easy to deal with, Pete took the time to carefully repack the rig I purchased in the original box, and then securely packed it for shipment, using a substantial amount of cushioning material and high-quality fiber-reinforced packing tape. The rig arrived safe and sound, and was in even better condition than I expected.
I live in a rural area and shop for many things online, and I am amazed at some of the inadequate packing jobs I've seen, just because people don't understand, or really care, what it takes to protect goods in shipment.
