Here is a copy of the email i mailed to Dale a couple hours back and his replie..This is proof to me that Mr. Cook would have had to know the Icom was in sad condition and did not work as he specified, and should have been sold as a parts rig or teck special..

Ive been servicing ham rigs for over 20 years. this icom has been screwed with so much the I doubt it can be strightened out. some of the If cans won't adj and the ppl is out to lunch ,off almost 200 kc. Anything can be fixed providing enought time and money is spent. You received a real dog,that I would not waste my time on . thanks'

mailed the Alinco out this morning priority mail, so you should see it in 2 days.
In your opinion because i am not electrically inclined is the icom a mon fumctioning rig?? as in a junker?...i guess i learned a lesson on this whole deal.
