RF2Technologies

RF2Technologies is AKA KB1LMI. He has run afoul of a good deal of amateurs in the recent past. I purchased a small item from him (he uses his girlfriend's e-mail address and PO Address) and didn't have any problems.

You best do a search on KB1LMI and see the info out there. I can tell you that his eBay rating isn't the best and they frequently change user names to avoid the publicity. All his sales are "private" on eBay because I think they bid on their own items to jack up the sale price.

Best advice: If it doesn't feel right, avoid it.

KB1LMI - 217stufforsale - rf2technologiies - lover86@comcast

Post by DL2DBY »

Hello out there,

at the 25th of march I "lost" the auction of an OMNI D with 217stufforsale on ebay. After paying with paypal I waited a few weeks because I know transceivers in a big box do not cross the atlantic in 2 hours.

9 weeks after that I asked him to trace the parcel - he promised to do and told me to ask my customs office whether it stuck there.

To make a long story short: Until now I do not hold the transceiver here in germany and as well I had no refund with paypal or ebay.

On overseas shipments he definitely tells you the story of parcels stucking in customs departments and therefore drives you out of the limits of ebay and paypal.

So he (or his girlfriend) is owing me 360€ which a bit more than 430 U$.

Thanks to Ebay which had been informed since years that 217stufforsale is an account opened on an stolen credit card and did not shut him down.

So be aware: If you pay by paypal and the device is not delivered in time then claim your money back - don´t relay on sellers excuses

Michael
