I picked up a homebrew transmitter with an HRO dial at the Bham hamfest. My intention was to use the dial; however, it is so well built it would be a shame not to put it back on the air. I feel sure this was built from a construction article or was the subject of one. Can any of you recall a vfo-controlled, CW transmitter (HRO dial) with silicon rectifiers, OB2 VR, 6au6 oscillator, 6U8 buffer/multiplier, 6AQ5 final, band switching for 80-15, supposedly built by Peter Dahl's brother? I sure would like to scare a schematic before digging in.
Thanks,
Pat AA4PG

Hello Pat
The Peter Dahl CO is alive and well. They make a lot of things for HAM Radio. Even if they don't currently make this transmitter they should be able to furnish you a copy of the schematic.
