Thanks Larry !

Post by Pizwiz »

As mentioned elsewhere, I am getting back into the Hobby after 30+ years.
Needless to say, there were I few items I needed after all this time.
I posted a wanted Ad here, looking for a microphone and received many replies.
Among them was a Gentleman called Larry who said he had a handheld Mike he no longer needed and if I wanted it he would send it to me for free !!
After quickly accepting such a generous gift I, of course, offered to re-imburse him for the shipping expenses as the least I could do.
Larry refused and told me not to worry about the shipping costs.
Talk about Generous !!
I was in two minds about posting this because i did not want Larry to be inundated with requests for freebies, so I am not including his call sign or location.
But in the end I decided that everyone should know that there are still generous spirits left in this Hobby !!
So, Thanks again Larry !! :D :D :D
