I've been informed that a scammer is impersonating me on QTH.com, responding to "wanted" ads. You can usually tell from the grammar and content of the reply that it's from a scammer. You should always check the QRZ page for anyone responding to your ads and look at the email address. For me, that's the only email address that I use and if you get an email with a different address it isn't from me. Usually these clowns pick a call that lists no email address on QRZ. I've posted a lot of for sale ads lately, assisting a widow with sale of her SK husband's equipment - that's probably what got the attention of the scammer.
