Help with TS-950SDX display brightness

Help with TS-950SDX display brightness

Hi, I have a Kenwood TS-950SDX and display is not as bright as it should be. DIM button is not pressed in (it does work, when pressed in you can barely see the LED's) and when you go in to the brightness menu, rotating it up or down has no effect on the display although the numbers do go up and down as if it was working. ANY HELP out there?
