SCAMMER ON QRZ PRETENDING TO BE STEVE KG4LJB

Post by kg4ljb »

I just received a call from Lynn W0ND wanting to buy the FTDX-101D I had listed for sale on QRZ. The problem is - I don't own one nor do I have one for sale. I tried to log onto my account - my password no longer works, and the email has been changed. Please, ALWAYS insist on a phone call before consummating a deal, and write off as scammer anyone who refuses. 73 - The REAL Steve KG4LJB

The scam ad could not of originated on the QRZ Swapmeet forum. No one using that call has posted on QRZ since 2017 and the call is not a subscriber so cannot post in the swapmeet.

Thanks.
