Recently I posted a WTB ad for 2 Henry Radio Solid State HF amplifiers.
I was approached by a gentleman from Romania who told me that he could deliver me one amplifier. Please see the thread below. Enjoy. Read from bottom up for the right sequence.

Hope your phone is recharged now. Please be so kind to speak to Vlad. He is, like you, a very kind and trustworthy person. Besides of that he is willing to pick up the SS 750 and pay you in cash, so there is no risk involved for you. Also my dear friend Stelian, money is just a piece of paper between you and me. Having Vladimir picking up the Henry SS 750 amplifier saves me some more hassle: customs. So please reconsider your views in this matter.

i just talk to the westrn union services and they said that the transfer with the MTCN# you gave me is not good and that the money have never been sent...so did you make the payment or not????i do not know what to think because you said you nade the payment and the western union said you haven't!and know you are telling me to make the deal with some one here...i do not know what to think...i trust you that you will make the payment and i paid all the fees for ship and every thing else and know i do not get the money...please let me know what to think...please go and make the payment again and this time do like i have told you:

I just got an e-mail from Vlad. He is willing to arrange a pick up. He will come to Amsterdam in 2 weeks time to visit a congress on female vertility treatment issues. Since Vladimir is an authority in this field he will present a paper on this subject and do fvt class as well. Really Amsterdam is the right place for this wouldn't you think? Anyway, he will pay you in cash, however NOT in US$ but in Euro. Could you please tell me what the price for the SS 750 will be in Euro, and your phone number please so Vlad can arrange for an appointment with you.

I just called the Western Union agent.
He told me that I cannot change the receivers name on an outstanding money order. I must make out a complete new money order with the right names. Wester Union will credit the old money order back to me. To do so I have to go to the Post Office again. Sorry that this is all such a hassle. However, to solve things more easily I have another proposal. I have a friend living in Romania. His name is Vladimir Sidorencu. He is just like me a medical doctor and he is travelling to the Netherlands on a regular basis. He might be able to get in touch with you, pay you the money in cash and bring the SS 750 with him. Could you give me your telephone number so I can ask Vlad to contact you?

PS: interesting job you have. My occupation is doctor, I work at the local hospital and am specialized in female fertility treatment. The ham radio hobby is a great pastime, I can integrate it in my work and have a small radio station in my consultancy room in the hospital. The SS 750 will be used
in this small station.
