I just bought a spare set of HV caps for my Alpha 87A from Danny. These particular caps were no longer available from Alpha and Danny located a source, but they required a minimum order of 100 pieces. Danny advertised if he could get a commitment from several hams to purchase these (each 87A requires 7 caps) he would make the leap and order them. He required payment up front and stated there was, I believe, a 90 day manufacturing lead time. I talked to Danny several times and decided to send the money as did several others which allowed Danny to almost cover his up-front investment to order the HV cap's. He promised delivery around the end of the year, depending on the manufacturer meeting their production schedule. I'm very pleased to say the caps arrived at my QTH on Monday Jan.2, 2016.
I appreciate very much how Danny handled this entire situation and would highly recommend dealing with him. I would trust Danny in any dealings and consider him a very fair and complete gentleman.
