Just completed a very smooth deal with Don. He called me as requested in my ad and proved to be a very affable and knowledgeable individual. In fact we spent about an hour on the phone, not just talking about radio but also swapping "sea - stories" as Don was in the US Navy around the same time I was.
Don fits into a very special category with me. There are a few guys on here that if I had, say, 20k worth of gear for sale and Don called me and said the "check is in the mail" I would ship to him before I received the check. Some of the others include W4EMF, K0RS, N9NOS and W5RIM. There are more but I don't have my "special list" in front of me. Sorry if I missed you guys.
Anyway, deal with confidence with Don. He is honest and one of a group that is sadly disappearing from our ranks.
