Question About Yaesu FT-101E

Hello. My query is this, I have a great 101E and I want to add 17meters to it. Can I do that with a crystal in the AUX spot, or would I need to pull the 10 meter crystal?
Sorry, but have not owned enough tube rigs that use XTAL"S to know. Also, where would be a good place to purchase a rock if it will work? Tnx for your time. 73's
