This is about a 60 foot tower that was advertised as a Rohn SSV purchased from WA4DC. First thing, per Rohn, it’s NOT a Rohn SSV tower. The sad part is I liked Dan and I hate doing reviews like this. You need to watch this guy because he is not above puttin it to ya! I was going to walk away but let myself be talked me into it by a friend. My friend and I drove from Three Rivers, MI to Owensboro, KY to pick it up BTW. I had talked to Dan a bunch of times on the phone. I had requested pictures which he sent. But they always left out one major thing that I didn’t find out until I was in the back yard looking at the tower. One bolt flange was bent badly, looks like it was dropped off the trailer and drug down the road. He couldn’t have told me that on the phone? How could it be in your back yard for years and even paint over it and not notice? The problem is deeper than that, it’s not just the bolt flange, it was dropped so hard that the whole end of the section is bent! In other words, it’s JUNK! As far as I’m concerned he owes me $2100.00 for a 4N section that’ll still have to alter to get to what he sold me! Yea, like that’s ever gonna happen! Bottom line, he screwed me good & he knew it! And yes, I did take pictures so I would have proof.
