Beware of K4RVN-Franklin Cloud

Post by pwjacks »

Beware of Franklin Cloud K4RVN. He stole parts from my Yaesu FT-920 to fix his and then filed a dispute with PayPal so he could receive a full refund. I have pictures to prove it. Don't do business with him. Paul KF3Z.

KF3z's harsh accusations are pure hogwash. He sold me a radio with a dent in it and low output power so that I could not use it with full power from my AL 80A. He advertised the FT-920 as very nice. When I got it and called him about the dent and low power out he claimed he did not know about the dent and low power. There was no damage to the box or packaging. I asked for a refund and I would ship it back otherwise I would have to file a dispute with Pay Pal as it was not as described. He said to do what I had to do so I filed a dispute, not a claim. Pay Pal emailed me that the seller had escalated the dispute to a claim. I thought that Pay Pal would rule for the seller. They asked for documentation of the dent and the add and other. I sent what they requested along with a photo of the radio. After sever weeks I got an email that Pay Pal had ruled in my favor on a claim by Kf3Z that the radio was not as advertised very nice. They said I would get a full refund but I did lose about 35 dollars shipping the radio back. I should have known the seller was dishonest when he wanted me to claim I was a family or friend so he would avoid the 3% pay pal fee. I paid it over what he asked for the radio as I told him that was dishonest. I should have refused to buy his radio but did not. I never stole anything off the radio and that is pure trash talk to discredit me for a claim he filed and Pay Pal decided he was dishonest and gave me a refund. BTW he ran adds and -sold the FT-920 without mentioning the dent and did not accept pay pal . The latest buyer is stuck with the dent as this seller is dis-honest and a liar.
