Update 1/21: Ed called and said he didn't like the way I posted feedback on this problem, but that this negative feedback would not hurt him, and he will not provide the part after all. He said that I knew I was getting a good deal anyway, and if I didn't like it, I could ship the unit back to him and he would then refund my payment. Live and learn, and don't use Paypal Friends & Family unless you really do know the person well.

Update 1/20: Ed has responded that he is sorry for mistakenly claiming the Voice unit was included. He offered to find one sometime, somewhere and send it to me. I told him I would need some time commitment but was willing to wait up to three months for this $65 part. He said he'd need to think about that.

Update 1/17 : The "Voice unit" is not installed (or included) as promised in the ad. Waiting for Ed's response to my email, and will update this feedback upon resolution.

Problems do occur, and it's how one responds that is important.
Hay guys N8LPQ here.. As you all know when I have something up for sale you know it's in perfect condition. Well here is a Kenwood TM-D710A in as new condition comes with everything as new. Voice unit INSTALLED. Also KRS-D710 windows cloning system/programming software with cable. I also have an UNOPENED Green Light Labs GPS UNIT. THIS IS A VERY SMALL Attachable unit that mounts on the back of the head. It is not noticeable or seen. No need to pay extra money for a new D710g that does nothing more for you. 1/15 Shipment was packed well and [it appeared that] Ed Menasian delivered as promised.
