What is an FT-301D worth these days?

Post by WD4NEW »

I inherited an FT-301D with power supply and mobile power cord from a Ham Friend. I already have a Kenwood station and should sell the transciever and mobile power cord (need the power supply). Anyone have an idea what that might be worth these days. This radio was owned by my friend who never went beyond novice and used the rig very little. I think he got it used. There is a slight hitch in the VFO tuning but all seems to work fine other than that. I think one of the Digits in the readout also is faulty. You get a partial number but have to know where you are to be sure of the freq. you are on.
I figured it was worth a couple hundred buck? What say you??

I appreciate the feedback. I guess $200 for a working model in good condition wouldn't be too much then.
