i bought a 6-meter, 100 Watt linear amp (aka CB AMP in disguise)
from John/N3OD.
The item was offered at a fair price and was delivered promptly.
i needed a low cost linear to play with and revisit circuit theory for my
own education. Wanted something inexpensive in case of high smoke & sparks. This one uses a pair of sweep tubes.
Took it apart and have been working on various amp circuits to
better understand how things work. Needless to say, always into
a dummy load.
I am very satisfied with this item and would do business with N3OD again.
