Beware of Steve Arbuckle KD6RHR Ripoff & Lying scam arti

Post by w2fpg »

Steve KD6RHR and I agreed to trade his dentron Clipperton amd and ts140
for my 706MK2G and LDG Tuner.I sent him 100.dollars to pack the amp carefully ..A box with a pillow on the bottom is not what I had in mind.Anyway I
get the amp and the Band switch and tank coil are burnt up along with the relays and tubes. There is also a problem with the hi voltage ,it only goes to about 1500V on cw or ssb.It should be 1800 in cw position and 2700 for ssb.
I wanted to send it back but he declined saying I wasn't getting my radio back..He told me the amp was in great shape and put out over 1000 watts and so on.
To top it off he won't even complete the deal and send me the ts140 Kenwwod never mind my radio.I offered again to pay for shipping the amp back as well as paying for him to send back my radio. Now he won't even answer my calls or email and still hasn't sent the radio.I have the Cancelled check that I sent him for shipping and pictures of the burnt up amp to prove I am not lying.Yes I'm angry, you would be to if U got ripped like this.Whos the bad guy here?I'll update.

This is my 2 cents worth.... I think this deal got out of hand somehow and no bad intentions by either party were initially intended.
I have traded and bought from Steve, KD6RHR many, many times and never a glitch. I have talked with him on the phone many times as well. A real gentleman.
I'm sure Frank, FPG is a good guy too.
Calm down boys! Life is too short.
A disagreement does not make a guy a "rip off artist"
