Good seller report

Post by W9RGY »

I bought a Drake RV-4C from a seller on e-bay, with the unlikely name of: "pamela-anderson-lee." I was wary, as I wasn't sure if this person was a Ham, but they had a good record. Turns out that the item was very well packed, in beautiful condition. Came in a box marked "Fragile" that UPS promptly punched a hole in, right into the Fragile sticker. But the item was double bubblewrapped, secured with foam. No damage in spite of UPS's best efforts. This is a good seller. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

Good thing he double wrapped it. I was told by the local UPS drop off center you never put fragile on anything sent through UPS. Just gives them a reason to play football with it or practice with their harpoons.
