I just bought a radio from Murray, K5MDM and heres how it went:
1. I asked a bunch of detailed questions
2. Murray gave a bunch of detailed answers.
3. we agreed on payment method, shipping and a price.
4. I paid
5. he packed it up (very well I'll add) and shipped the next day.
6. I rec'd the radio and checked it out thoroughly on arrival.
7. I emailed Murray to let him know the radio arrived and checked out. I may have even said "Thanks"
Bottom Line: I bought from Murray because he has a very good track record and alot of history on this board. He was honest and detailed in his assesment of the radios condition and operation. I couldn't talk him down on it, but realize why after receiving the radio. I think that the condition of this radio was better than stated. The radio is mine now and he delivered it as stated. If it ever breaks down, I'll fix it. After all, it's a used radio. The entire deal from the first email to the last one was about 5-days.
