I bought a Drake L-4B From Billy Prewitt WB5BXJ in Waxahachi Texas. He was very helpful in getting the item packed and shipped in 3 different boxes. He removed the tubes and the chimneys and shipped them in thier own box. When the amp arrived, I found it packed extremely well. It fired right up and worked just as he described it.
One other thing I'd like to mention. His emails are very clear and to the point. Every issue that he knew of was disclosed up front before I sent money. He told me to let him know I was satisfied when the amp arrived and THEN he would cash my money order. How refreshing that is. When he told me that, I knew there was not going to be a problem.
What a nice gentleman to deal with. I'd buy off of him again anytime.
