A friend of mine that was a HAM passed away recently. I am starting to sell some of his equipment, and I cannot for the life of me find any pricing on the above mentioned items. I have found some pricing on the Bird Wattmeter, but it has been all over the place.
The IC-901A VHF/UHF DUAL BAND FM TRANSCEIVER is new in the box. From what I know, it does not look like it was ever used... if it was, it could not have been much.
The IC-211 2M ALL MODE TRANSCEIVER works and is in good condition if not excellent.
The Bird Wattmeter is older, but is in high average - good condition. It has 3 elements with it. They are 50W 100-250MHz 50C, 10W 100-250MHz 10C, and 250W 2-30MHz 250H.
Any idea on what I should be pricing these items at?
ICOM IC-901A, ICOM IC-211, Bird WattMeter Model 43
Hi,
Regarding the 901... Does it have any extras with it (band modules, power distributor block, etc.)?
If not, as a basic dual bander, in excellent shape, it should sell for ~$350.00+
If it has any extras just let me know and I will tell you what I think.
I just sold a 901, and before I sold it I was the owner of a Yahoo discussion list oriented around this radio. They are excellent radios which are very flexible and have a very strong following.

Well there may be some add-ons inside the radio, but they won't add much to the price (tone decoder, etc.). The add-ons I was mainly referring to would be impossible to miss. The band modules are a little wider than the radio and about as deep, but only about an inch high, and they stack on top of the radio. There is also a power distributor box that bolts to the side(I forget what they call it) so that one can attach more than one band module.
So, bottom line is that if you want to sell it quickly advertise it for $350. If you can wait, try it at $425. Certainly it would add to its saleability if you have the manual, original box, mounting bracket, stuff like that. It is rare to find one in as-unused condition so that will help. It would really help if you could test it out.
