Rarely do you meet people that are so honest, kind and passionate about the gear they are selling. Binky is just such a person. He is a rare bird in the fraternity of hams and a genuine and sincere pleasure to trade with.
There were timely emails to answer my questions and some good haggling and compromise. We both felt comfortable and content at the conclusion of the transaction. I walked away feeling like I dealt with someone in my family.
When the radio arrived, it was well packed and you could see the time and effort that went into packing the radio for the long, bumpy trip to Vermont. This was a classic oldie and Bink showed genuine concern and compassion for me as a person and did not treat me as an object or number that a lot of guys do without a second thought. He actually sent emails after the purchase and checked to see that all was aok and that I was happy with the purchase. I feel so humble, grateful and appreciative to no end.
Bink, god bless you. You are an excellent role model for all hams trading gear. We should all take notice of you as you raise the bar for all of us and try to aspire to be better people and walk the walk like you and not just talk the talk. I know we will keep in touch over the years and remain friends.
You remind me of my dear Elmer who passed away recently. He was a compassionate man and is my constant inspiration and role model in addition to my XYL who is a shining star. There are very few people like you and I commend you and wish you well. I feel like I am a better person just for knowing you bcuz I want to be more like you and aspire to be a better man in my personal and professional lives.
I respect you and salute you and highly recommend you to all hams and would not hesitate for a second to do biz again with you.
