RIP-OFF HAM - HIRAM VAZQUEZ - KW2HV

Post by KI6UAL »

After seeing a post on QTH.com for an Icom 756 Pro 3, I sent a postal money order for $1,800.00 to HIRAM VAZQUEZ - KW2HV located at:

592 VAUGHN AVE
FORKED RIVER, NJ 08731

HIRAM VAZQUEZ has not responded to any of my emails after admitting to receiving my postal money orders.

Upon further investigation, HIRAM VAZQUEZ has had at least one other complaint filed against him to the Internet Crime Complaint Center - a division of the FBI, by KJ6FLU, and San Diego ham, who HIRAM VAZQUEZ tried to rip off in the sale of a Yaesu FT-2000 in the amount of $2,000.00 in 2010. I spoke with KJ6FLU over the phone, verifying his story as posted on:

http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?26 ... om-IC-7700

The scam in the Yaesu FT-2000 sale was that he was selling the radio for a friend who had cancer. When this man was contacted, he did not even know HIRAM VAZQUEZ, and was in perfect health.

This matter is currently under investigation.

If anyone has had any contact with HIRAM VAZQUEZ - KW2HV, or has been ripped - off by him, please contact KI6UAL direct at 805-598-7788 or 805-937-0802.
