Jan is the type of person who reminds me what I like about ham radio. I bought a transceiver from him early in July, which he shipped to me via UPS. Short version: Brown lost it. Big time. Totally dropped the ball, radio is gone. As soon as Jan was notified by UPS that they would be paying him, he credited me via Pay Pal. He was in touch with me nearly every day during this frustrating bureaucratic ordeal with UPS. He is a genuinely decent person, and I wish he had another FT 1000 I could buy. Thanks, Jan -- you did everything you could.
