Last week, I saw Hector's ad wanting to sell his IC-PROIII because he wanted to try the new Kenwood TS-590S.
I had just received one of the first 590s which I had spoken for months ago,but thinking they would be a few months, had just bought a new OrionII and had also just aquired a mint IC-2KL and AT-500 in hopes I would someday also find a mint ProIII. I had owned this station a few years back and let a close friend talk me out of it and regreted it ever since.
Since I really didn't need the new TS-590S, I offered to trade it for Hector's ProIII and that way he wouldn't have to wait and worry trying to sell the Icom and I wouldn't have another new radio I didn't need.
We made the deal and the ProIII arrived yesterday and it is 100% Mint just like he said it would be and I have never seen anything packed as well as this radio was packed.
My only regret is that I couln't have just moved to Lake Worth and he could have moved to Missouri to save shipping cost on the rigs.
