BEWARE OF KB2TEK SENT ME A TS 450S WAS ADVERTISED TO HAVE ALL THE FILTERS IN IT HAD NONE THEY WERE PULLED ALSO GOT DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT HE WENT AND COLLECTED THE UPS CHECK WHICH HE DENIES AND WILL NOT SEND IT TO ME FOR REPAIRS UPS ARE DOPES FOR SENDING IT TO HIM
Just a heads up regarding shipping insurance payouts. The person shipping the item in most if not all cases is THE person who will receive the payment. The person shipping the item usually is the person who makes the payment to UPS and is the same person who pays to them the insurance fee. UPS usually has the shipper file the claim and sends the payment to the shipper.
It is not unusual for a person who pack EXTEMELY poorly to act as if the insurance is a cure-all for lazy, sloppy packing. They then try to get you to file a claim against the shipper. Don't go for it. The sloppy packer needs to be held responsible.
If you pay VIA PAypal you have some leverage to get your money back. They recently came through for me on a trashed out Hallicrafters SR-400 when the seller became quite evasive at issuing the agreed refund. After a few lame attempts at wiggling out by the seller, a simple Paypal claim brought an instant refund.
They also saved me from being a victim of the infamous N3DG "pennradio"

What the hell is this I never had any dealing with you. Why are you picking me for a culprit. Its seems like you are one ripping people off. I never even heard of your name or your call sign. You better retract this someway because I can guaratee you I wil sue you. I would even know how to take apart this radio and never owned one and defintely would not know how to take a filter out or what they look like.
