thanks to kr4ey for sorting this one out! al is a new ham and mis copied his new call!

normally, i am a step ahead of scams and cons. i am not sure what to make of this. anybody have any idea whats going on?

i ran an ad to sell a ht. i received a response from Al Piper KF5GKO. Al told me he is looking for the exact ht i am selling and that his ticket was just issued today, (4-22-10). he asked for my phone # to chat about the ht. it seemed odd that he needed to tell me his ticket was issued "today"
i checked Al Piper KF5GKO on the fcc uls and it was issued 4-22-10 however not to al piper. it is issued to sean d fox garland tx. i asked al piper to explain the discrepancy and send me his phone # and here is the response i received. hard to figure... anyone have any clue?
happy hoss trading paul w8jn
ps... call not listed to al piper and frn comes back "no such match"

Thanks in advance. Al - KF5GKO - FRN 0019754191
