Just a quick note to tell you that John, W5JMC is an honest, straight shooter.
Last week John posted here on the QTH buy/sell/trade list to offer an older 2 meter rig (a Radio Shack HTX-242) in good working condition to trade towards any of several items, one of which I happened to have and wasn't using; that item was a N2VZ turbo-tuner for a Tarheel screwdriver HF mobile antenna. After some email negotiations back and forth, he offered to sweeten the deal for my really nice controller by adding some cash to the trade. So, we had an agreement.
Putting faith in his honest demeanor, I shipped him the Tuner/controller to see how he liked it; When he got my Turbo-Tuner, he put the 2m rig in the mail along with a postal money order.
Tonight we both confirmed that we are happy with our acquisitions. So, wanted to let you know that if you want to work a deal with John, he is worth your trust.
