Shipping to buyer

Post by M. C. Mayerl »

RE: Listing #729022. FEDEX also does not honor their insurance agreement when shipping damage occurs. FEDEX demanded the damaged items which were shipped to me and I complied. All further communication with FEDEX over a six month period resulted in no action. My loss $360. Buyer be ware!

STIFFED BY YOUR SELLER -- NOT FEDEX

Post by N9LCD »

You got stiffed by your seller, not by FedEx.

What you say is correct, to a point. As seller/shipper, I had a FedEx shipment damaged last year. FedEx picked up the damaged gear from my buyer, inspected it and returned it to me.

IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY AS SELLER TO ARRANGE FOR REPAIR OF THE GEAR AND ITS RETURN TO THE SELLER.

Your seller got your gear back, kept it and may have pocketed the settlement check (IF ANY) from FedEx.

GO AFTER HIM, NOT FEDEX!

PS: After six months, it's probably too late.
