I KC4UXI made a deal with AD7RU Allen Bond adout trading a RCI 5054 DX-100 to a Kenwood TS-430. I sent my radio UPS which he received. I did not get anything in return. I didn't get a radio. I didn't get any money. I didn't get anything. I contacted him and he said he just got out of the hospital and would send it right out. I didn't receive anything. He said his wife forgot to mail it. Starting to sound like a rip off doesn't it. Contacted him again. He said it was lost in the mail. Again sounds like a rip off. This went on for four months. He finally sent me back my radio with no packing and the radio was in pieces. A total RIP OFF from the get go. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY AND HIS WIFE.
THANKS,
DAN GOODPASTER

It never ceases to amaze me as to the number of amateurs, both buyers and sellers, that end up in the hospital during a transaction. Most fall ill just after receiving funds and just before the shipment of goods.
A large portion of bad transactions have one party that comes down with a mysterious illness that requires hospitalization and renders them so helpless that they can't ship equipment, dial the phone, listen to the answering machine, return email or get to the bank.
A simple 'search' for the word 'hospital' turned up 22 threads in the Feedback Forum.
