I saw an ad by David Armiger N2LFY for a new dual band mobile.
Ad stated "New in the box - never opened. " I asked him twice about the radio if it was new and never opened and both times he said "brand new, never opened." I bought the radio and as soon as I opened the box I could tell it was not new. The plastic was gone from the display, there was a scuff mark on the face of the mic, the mounting hardware was missing and most of the items were out of the original packaging. I emailed David about what I found and he said "The radio had not been used" a far cry from never opened.
I asked him if I could return the radio since he was not truthful about it and he never replied to my numerous emails. I will never buy anything from him again.
