My thought's on Buying and Trading!!

Post by lhk0pd »

There is quite a debate going on which N5wrx got going. I think even tho his opinion may or may not be agreeable with all. That it is a good debate on people selling with the disclaimer of "where is as is". So here are my thought's on buying and trading. 1. When i buy something and the seller states Where is as is i assume it is not perfect and pay a price accordinally.
2. I do understand when a seller say's his item is a 9 out of 10 cosmectically i hope to agree but also realize there can be a difference of opinion as all does not appear the same in all people's version of what is a 8 or a 9.But i sure do not expect a 9 to look like a 7 either.
3. I'm alway's leary of people selling who seem to at some point want to tell you how much they believe in GOD as if to say not to worry i'm a good Christian. I say this only from my personal experience as one of my biggest shafting was from a preacher....
4.And of course i have maybe missed a good buy or trade but i firmly believe in the old saying"if it sound's to good to be true it probaly is".
5. I am alway's suspicious of mail box address for money to be sent to and if they will not give you there phone number or willing to take time to discuss the deal,my personal advice is to do NO DEAL....
6. And yes there are alot of Ham's who buy and sell as a Hobby and to make a buck or two and you should alway's know the person or learn about him or her and in the long run there will be less complaint's.
My thought's and alway's open to other's........Larry K0pd
