Sid Purvis WA4VBC Good Guy to deal with

I have made a second (and third and fourth) purchase from Sid, he met me half way from our homes in North Carolina and mine in Virginia. Excellent person to work with and good company over coffee.

I agree Sid is a great person to deal with and a true HAM. I mentioned in another posting about Sid how when i notified him of a Problem i had with a radio i bought from him(no 40 meter)how he instantly offered to take the radio back. But i wanted to keep the radio so he then offered and sent me money to get the radio repaired. Well i found the problem (cold solder) and repaired it my self. I then called Sid after receiving his CK and told him i did not feel right accepting his CK and told him tnx but i would not keep the money. Sid insisted i keep part of it for my trouble. Folks this is how Ham radio trades should be handled honestly with little squabbling.
