I would like to find out how close to the end of production my R7A Drake receiver is, #3641. I am told it was purchased in late 1982. I have only found 3 other R7A serial numbers and they are in the early 3000 range. I think this may be one of the last ones off the line, if not the last. So, if there is some other number higher than mine, it will tell me how near the end mine actually is. My plain R7 is #977. These are very nice, stable receivers with great PBT and selectivity and great looks! Thanks for any information.
