He no longer answers ad inquiries either. ..because I answered his ad and offered him a trade/cash deal but got no answer. Maybe he is very ill? Or dead? Did you contact his local PD?

Thanks for the tip. Contact messages outlining resolution left on several channels (phones, email and FAX). Next all legal actions available will be pursued.

I'm with WX1F as i did pretty much the same with no response.

After multiple emails, faxes and phone messages, N8WNE claims that he was out of town and somebody else was going to send it. Still no waybill number or package as promised in his response. He is aware of my concern.

That is a answer that would have me concerned.He had time to cash your CK but not send your item?Also if he had to leave before the CK cleared would he not have at least notified you that there was a possible delay,but then of course he would have been taking a chance you would have stopped payment. Hope it all turns out for the best....

Claims Colleague did not ship as promised and he would take care of it last week. No indication that it has been done as promised. I remain skeptical.

Finally arrived. It is in nice shape and passes start up test as described but unit not functional.due to local oscillator problems. Could have been due to shipping so off to repair.

I consider my transaction with the seller complete.
