I paid for merchandise 30 days ago and have not received yet. He comes up with a lot of excuses. Next step is US Post Office fraud since I mailed him a bank check.

Make sure you don't just threaten him...follow through with the paperwork. He'll fold upon receiving the first registered letter from the Postal Authorities. Keep us posted and good luck.

Now for the $64,000 questions:
Do you have a copy, front and back, of the paid check?
Did KD7MIA receive and cash it?
Have you contacted or attempted to contact KD7MIA regarding a possible forged endorsement?
Have you contacted KD7MIA for proof of shipment?
If not, back to SQUARE 1.

This should have been expected with his callsign ending in "MIA"...
