Richard N5OU is without a doubt a credit to ham radio and a true gentleman. he called me to purchase my al1500. after we chatted he instantly paypaled me and i gave him my word the 1500 would go out instantly and be packed to protect it from the shipping gooorilllaasss.
i placed the amp in two packages and delivered to fed ex the next day. it made to the terminal in woodway tx 2 days later. the deck was delivered wednesday and the ps was noted as "exception" meaning the driver tried to deliver however no one was home. well thursday we got the same message "exception" delivery attempt however no one home. well bullpucky!!! richard took two days off of work to receive the package. i got on the phone and got past all the csr's at fed ex and finally was put through to paul at the woodway tx fed ex terminal. i told him the story and indicated that his driver was a liar and a slacker (somehow the two boxes ended up on two different trucks). long story short, the driver would deliver one or two packages a day, list that he tried to deliver the rest and sleep the rest of the day. well barney the driver from bumbleburg tx was fired this morning and fed ex made everything right!
a huge thanks to richard for being patient with me and a real gentleman. i hope we do business again. best 73 paul w8jn (the hammer ham) dont mess with w8jn hihi
