I believe I may of found the trouble, the AC outlet I had it plugged into was dead. And maybe the battery went dead.

Hi Ray:

I have some bad news, I shipped the laptop back to you via U.S. Postal servive insured for $400.00 priority mail. The laptop developed a problem the screen went black and the laptop turned itself off and would not turn back on. I let it set over night and tried it this morning, nothing. Sorry about that, I thought it was a nice machine. I gave my own laptop to my Grand Daughter.

The icom has several options, UT-106 DSP unit, UT-102 voice synthesizer unit and carrying handle.

Thank you for info. Sounds like what my grand daughter will be thrilled with. She needs a laptop for her college work.
