If this was something he did reguraly i could understand the complaint but the fact he changed his mind and returned your money does not sound like a bad person, but a honest person who changed there mind for what ever reason.

Well, I listed a couple of items for trade and he responded that he wanted to trade. The next thing I know he sends a message that he wants $100.00 difference and what all his "so called" friends said it was worth. I let him know I wasn't interested and it turns into an all out intelligence bash. Don't get me wrong, I replied in a defensive manner after the insults, but I should have been the bigger man and ignored him. In either case, he is not to be trusted and I wouldn't deal with him if he was giving money away. You mileage may vary when dealing with him, but I suspect as long as you allow him to have the upper hand, all will be well. I'm sure he will come up with a different story, but I have bought and sold enough gear on here to let my reputation stand for itself.

The old fart should have sent you an extra few bucks for wasting your time or that fact he changed his. Its the cost of being indecisive.

My 2 cents.

Well, what I would like to know is where did "a mans word is his bond" go? If I had made a deal, I would stick to it. It's one thing to change your mind while it's still in negotiations, but after a money order has been received, to send it back may not be the same as stealing, but it's less than honest. Times are changing my fellow Amateurs.
