N7ZZV - RICHARD JENKINS - Beware - Deadbeat, bad check

hello all, i sold some icom gear to N7ZZV - RICHARD JENKINS. i took a check from him and shipped before it cleared, my big mistake ! in his last email to me he states:
"I am sorry. Apparently the bank processed the pymt prior to my direct deposit. Not a problem will forward pymnt of 63.00 on the next payday 15th November or sooner. I am looking to forward sooner ASAP. THx Rick N7ZZV"
he no longer replies to email. i have taken plenty of checks from hams over the years but never before, have i had a bad check!
he is in peoria az and im in sacramento. the deal was via ebay but do to being strung along, i have run of of time to do much there.
