I bought a TE amp from Phil W9DVM, He said is was like new, The amp portion works but the Pre Amp shorts out the incoming signal when it is turned on. KJ4BHH

Not one to post but had to on this one. A while back Phil sold me a Heath DX-60 which was suppose to be in excellent operating condition. His ""ENGINEER"" forgot to put back in a resistor he took out to make some test but then told me how wrong I was when I reported no HV. Spoke to Phil then his ""ENGINEER"" who both said "it worked when it left them". E-mailed them both pics of chassis, they responded with admitting the error and sending me the used parts. Phil justified it by sending me a dozen jars of his spices. If he offers, send back the piece. Lots of luck. Leon, WB2DLF.

I just wanted to update everyone one the misrepresented deal from Phil W9DVM: I sent him an email about the defective amp, His answer was to call TE and ask them what is wrong with it, I feel like he knew it did not work and has no intention of making it right. KJ4BHH

Goodness! I told the man I had traded for this amp and never used it. He offered much less and I said OK. It looked like new. He called about the pre-amp and I said if it doesn't work to return it for a refund as I do with everyone, My rep is always the best and I am appalled about this note with out a call.

Over the past 16 years, I have purchased from Phil LaMarche various amps and radios. Every piece of radio gear was as described or better. I always found Phil a gentleman and great person to buy from. W4KC
