Beware of KD4BBP - Sells broken/defective items

Just wanted to pass along a bad experience dealing with KD4BBP who sold me a damaged and partially working radio. Supposedly, this was a "working" unit (which means I suppose that the dial lights work).
This guy has told me so many lies that one contradicts the next. I won't list all the statements here, unless need be, but I have all e-mails.
The radio had no power cord which i found odd, but no big deal. He told me about that. I have to wonder just how much "check out" he really did.
Anyway, cut to the chase. He stated that item would be UPS'd to me. I agreed. I received a tracking number that wasn't a UPS number and found that he had elected instead to send it Parcel post to minimize his costs. Shouldn't be a big deal if packed properly as parcel post is usally harsh with shipments more then Priority Mail.
Received the unit in a flimsy box. Already a big red flag.
Opened box and found the radio sliding around internally, one layer of very small bubble wrap around the unit, and about a dozen plastic grocery sacks for packing. Yeah, you heard that right.
Needless to say, item had the Send/Rcv switch pushed into the radio, main tuning knob wouldn't turn as it was jammed into the radio. Managed to "fix" those issues but when powered up, doesn't receive on 10 Mhz and up, S-Meter doesn't work, Processor inoperative, corrosion on back of radio (failed to list that defect in the posting and follow up e-mails), rust internally, etc.
When I told him about it, the contradictions started. Something about how it was packed and ready to go when he was awaiting the money order, followed by packing it at the USPS and then telling me they woudl have told him if it were packed inproperly, and then stating it was packed well and any damage is the USPS responsibility and not his.
Never seen anyone ship something and then wash their hands of it like this guy.
In summary, the item will require around $100 or more to repair and he states that he isn't paying for any repairs, refunds etc and that I should obtain from the USPS. I am certain that when I take his crappy packing and lack thereof packing materials to the USPS they will run me out of their office.
Don't understand why individuals like this blame everything on "shipping" and that the unit was "working" prior to shipment. I never received any responses to my questions on non-shipping inoperative issues with this unit. That would figure.
Anyway, he has consistently mispresented the item, made numerous contradictory statements and won't honor the transaction since he is responsible for the packing and shipping of this item.
WARNING: Don't buy anything from this guy unless you are ready to shell out additional funds or end up like I did with an inoperative unit.
