Buyers Beware of Steve Mashek, KC0CQE in Troy, MO. I purchased an item from him back on September 12, 2006. I sent the payment to him via USPS Money Order to the address he provided on Sept. 14th. As of October 6, my item had not arrived, and he had not responded to several emails requesting tracking and shipping information. I was able to contact him after several attempts via a telephone number on his add. At that time he stated he had received the MO and had shipped the item to me a couple of days before via USPS priority mail. I patiently waited a few weeks with no results. Numerous emails requesting tracking information went un-answered. On October 19th I tried again to contact him via telephone, but now I got a message saying "voicemail full". I researched him online and found another phone number for him, and was able to get through. Again, I got the same story that he had shipped my item out two days before via USPS priority mail. My requests for tracking information were met with excuses. And it has been no big surprise that I still have not received my item as of October 26th. I can only wonder if I'm the only one having this experience with him. He no longer answers email or any phone calls to any number I have for him. Buyers Beware if you choose to deal with him.
