Heathkit SB-1000 Unbuilt.

Have a SB-1000 Linear amplifier brand new in box unbuilt. Packing boxes in the main box still unpacked.What is it worth.? ALso has the QSK board factory assembled by HeathKit.Thanks. Dennis.........ve6ac

On e-bay, unbuilt kits go for primo dollars, which is asinine . . . for a box of parts that when assembled will be worth a fraction of what he/she paid for it.
I bet the feeding frenzy on e-bay will put it well over $1k. But for the ham who builds it, end value will be in the $500 range.
