I recently received a Hallicrafters S-38E receiver from Vollie. I was going to use it to be an organ donor for another one I had that needed A LOT of help. After receiving this one, I scrapped that idea and instead will use parts from the other one for THIS ONE. Vollie is truly a man of his word. He said it would be shipped free, and all I had to pay for was shipping. Darned good deal. This radio is in great shape, considering it's a 1950's era tube radio. I look forward to dealing with Vollie again. You can trust his word. Oh, and he packs really well !!! Short of harpooning the box with a forklift, I can't imagine a scenario where this radio could have arrived damaged. Thanks again, Vollie. 73, Bob, K5INW
