SCAM ALERT - KC9FXZ

***BUYER BEWARE*** of any items listed here or any other ham radio classifieds site for sale by Danny Van Hyning KC9FXZ from Jacksonville, IL. I purchased a scanner from him he had listed for sale here on QTH on 11/23/24. When I received the radio, it was damaged. We agreed on a return and refund of the original purchase price plus splitting the cost of return shipping. Upon confirmation of receiving the radio back, he began with excuses as to why he could not send me the refund, and then he stopped responding to text messages around Christmas time. He still has several items listed for sale here on QTH.Deal with him at your own risk.
