Scammer Claiming to be KB9ASU

Post by N7KR »

Yesterday I was contacted by someone claiming to be ROBERT J STEIGERWALD KB9ASU (who doesn't have his email listed on QRZ call lookup.)
I asked the scammer to add his email address to QRZ so I could verify him legit - he didn't answer.
When I ask him to male a cell video call to show me the equipment, he said he couldn't.

Below is the near as I can tell, fraudulent email:

Robert.J Stegierwald

Callsign KB9ASU
It's been 3years now. Bought it brand new from Palstar
